A recommendation for foundational support for carers of people with a disability has been welcomed by
Carers Australia.

The recommendation in today’s long-awaited NDIS Review Final Report includes navigation support,
information and capacity building for individuals, families, and communities. This shows an
acknowledgement of the important role carers have in the lives of people with disability and as part of the
care economy.
