Jenny has over 35 years’ experience as an academic in the School of Management at the University of South Australia, which included managing and teaching degree programs overseas as well as the setting up and management of an Advisory Board for the Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality. She holds qualifications in social work and urban and regional planning and is an Emeritus Fellow of the Council of Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education (CAUTHE). Jenny was a foundation member of CAUTHE and fulfilled a variety of roles over 30 years. She also has 30 years’ experience as a Professional Conference Organiser and is currently a member and volunteer for the Mt Lofty Historical Society.
Since retirement in 2014, Jenny has been an active member of the Carers SA Board, initially as a co-opted member and currently as an elected member. She was appointed to the Carers Australia Board as the nominee member of Carers SA in February 2020.
