Antony Stinziani is the Chief Information Officer at Geoscience Australia and is responsible for the development and implementation of the GA ICT Strategy and the GA Digital Science Transformation.
Antony holds a degree in Public Administration, with majors in Information Technology Human Resource Management. He has also completed strategic leadership programs at the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Antony is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of the Carers ACT Board of Directors.
He has 25 years' experience in government ICT and a strong track record of leadership with a focus on strategic alignment and transformation of ICT – particularly in science and research-based environments.
Antony is heavily involved in the national research agenda and has been involved in numerous executive and policy committees that lead the partnership of ICT and research across the government, university and industry sectors.
Antony is heavily involved in whole of government ICT as a member of various Commonwealth executive committees and forums, including the Government CIO Forum, Commonwealth Data Champions, eGov Cluster Steering Committee, Government Science ICT Network and the Canberra Innovation Centre.
