Male carers must make time for their own wellbeing

Men's Health Week provides all male carers with a timely reminder that their own health and wellbeing is as important as that of those for whom they care.

More help needed for young people with a disability to move out of residential aged care

A recent report by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) revealed that many young people with a disability remain in aged care facilities.

 

The Young People with Disability in Residential Aged Care program (YPIRAC) aims to reduce the number of people with disability aged 65 or under who live in residential aged care.
